Each death spawns a Slasher Phantom that reenacts your previous run and can damage enemies, letting your failures become tools. The more you fight (and get covered in blood), the stronger you become: fill the Skull Gauge to trigger Carnival Awakening, a monstrous, high-impact special. Levels are drenched in 1980s American horror vibes, and each of the seven zones channels a different horror subgenre, culminating in memorable, challenging boss encounters that demand pattern recognition and strategy.
