This Grand Life 2 lets you play out "what if" life stories by putting you in the shoes of different people in different places and simulating the financial and social pressures they face. The game combines a character-preferences system with an economy driven by inflation, so choices about work, housing, study and spending have realistic consequences over time.

You set priorities for each character and manage a household of one or more people across a full lifespan. Pursue personal passions like art, building, or even crime; compete with rivals who lobby for policy changes; and use influence to shape outcomes. Maps use real city layouts, so travel times depend on actual roads, rails and geographic obstacles. Finally, the game is designed to be moddable, letting you add new careers, courses, locations and items.
