Aztecs The Last Sun v0.4.0 18912 20250923 rcnc gog - early access

Aztecs: The Last Sun casts you as the Tlatoani, the divine leader of the Aztec people, charged with guiding your society through prosperity and apocalypse. From your island capital of Tenochtitlan in Lake Texcoco you will expand and shape a floating metropolis, recovering land from the waters with canals and reservoirs, building infrastructure, and keeping trade and food supplies flowing across the Valley of Mexico.

A narrative-driven campaign unfolds across multiple acts, where your decisions influence the fate of the city and its people. Political rivalries and everyday management are overshadowed by a supernatural crisis: the Moon Goddess has turned against the Sun, cursing your people with a spreading darkness. Only ritual blood offerings - human sacrifice - can temporarily summon a protective barrier. The game forces you to weigh grim choices about survival, morality, and devotion as nights of danger wear on.
Gameplay mixes city-building and survival systems with religious and economic layers. Assign roles to captives, refugees, commoners, nobles and priests; develop your population into workers or rites-takers; construct monumental temples, academies and gardens to display power and faith. Send expeditions across the region to secure resources and trade routes that sustain your island empire. With a variety of building types and upgrade paths, you’ll balance growth, worship and the harsh necessities that keep your people alive.
