Quartet Build 23657002

Quartet is a 20-30 hour single‑player RPG that weaves together four separate, self-contained stories into a single epic. Start any of the four campaigns in any order; as they converge you’ll assemble a final cast of eight heroes who will uncover a secret, centuries‑old conflict and face a choice about the destiny of magic. Along the way the plot touches on train robberies and a government conspiracy, a mysterious deck of cards that reveals another world, deadly airships cutting across an imperial frontier, and an unlikely hero whose sudden power reshapes everything.
Gameplay blends exploration and tactical, turn‑based combat. You control a party of eight characters but only deploy four at a time; the other four sit in reserve and can be swapped in instantly. Swapped characters act immediately, and those in reserve regenerate Ability Points (AP) faster, letting clever players chain powerful attacks by rotating heroes at the perfect moment. The combat is fast‑paced and ability‑rich, with a visible turn queue that helps you plan elemental and physical combos to exploit enemy weaknesses. AP also regenerates automatically after a hero’s turn, encouraging constant spellcasting and ability use.
Exploration is an important part of the experience: climb ropes, cross dangerous gaps, find secret paths and caches of rare loot, and equip your growing party of eight. Environments range from steampunk streets in Leornin to barbarian frontier forests, cursed marshes of Tyche, and grim underworld warehouses in Seren-each area hides secrets and valuable gear.
Features at a glance: multiple interlocking storylines, a roster of eight playable characters with dynamic frontline/reserve swapping, a tactical turn queue, abundant special abilities and elemental combos, automatic AP regeneration, rewarding exploration and treasure hunting, and a few delightful surprises (yes, there’s a playable hippo).
