One Last Clip drops you into an eerie cinema where you awake in a storage room with no memory of how you arrived. On the wall is a board laying out the only way out: sort the faulty film reels and follow the instructions exactly, or stay trapped forever.

Your main objective is straightforward: identify which short movie clips are flawed. You’ll repeatedly enter the screening hall, sit through a brief film - including the haunting short "Paper Panic," about Jim and his paper plane - and then pick one of two exits: one leads on if the clip was normal, the other if it was flawed. Keep doing this until you reach Cinema Hall 0. Choose incorrectly and you’ll be returned to the beginning.

The cinema itself can be unsettling - occasional strange or spooky occurrences may happen around you - but these are distractions and should not influence your decisions. The game leans into light horror and cinematic anomalies that fit the movie-theater setting.

Gameplay focuses on atmosphere and careful observation rather than exploration. Instead of searching rooms, you watch the same brief clip multiple times and look for subtle errors or anomalies. The environment may shift now and then, but those changes are not meant to affect your judgment. Finish a cycle or complete the whole game by correctly identifying every flawed clip.
