Global Farmer is a top-down farming management game that lets you run a farm anywhere on a real-world map. Pick a location-from cool European valleys to sun-drenched South American plains-and tailor your operations to the local climate and conditions.

You’ll plan and build a working farm: arrange storage, vehicle parking, paths, animal shelters and other infrastructure. Buy realistic agricultural machines and implements to expand your capabilities and streamline production.

Crop success depends on many dynamic factors: daily temperature, sunlight, rainfall, soil composition and nutrient levels (NPK). Study field values, design effective crop rotations, manage several fields at once and optimize planting to boost yields and income.

Keep animals in barns and pastures, move them seasonally to protect their health, and collect products like milk, wool and eggs. There are multiple animal types to care for, each contributing to your farm’s profitability.

If your local area lacks map detail, use the built-in editor to create or refine fields using OpenStreetMap data, then share those custom maps with the community via the Workshop. The game also models regional challenges-weather patterns, prices, soil texture and pH vary by coordinates-so growing in different parts of the world requires different strategies.

Take on contract work to earn extra revenue by delivering requested goods on time. Contracts grow in difficulty and reward, pushing you to manage resources efficiently.
