You take on the role of a rebellious process trying to survive in a decaying digital realm. What was meant to be a sheltered digital paradise has been warped by generations of updates, twisting its inhabitants into corrupted, zombie-like entities. As you move through surreal, dreamlike spaces influenced by backrooms, vaporwave and De Chirico, you’ll piece together the story from messages left by the few processes that still persist.

Combat is fast and intense: nimble zealots and bulky partisans swarm the halls, and you’ll need traps, timing and the Process Termination Grenade Launcher to tear through corrupted structures and trigger cascading explosions. The game also throws moments of vulnerability at you-sometimes the launcher is taken away, forcing you to rely on stealth, wits and environmental tricks to survive.

Multiple secret areas and branching choices lead to four different endings, rewarding players who stray from the main path. The Corruption asks whether a supposedly perfect digital sanctuary can truly be escaped-and what remains when it falls apart.
