Ovis Loop is a fast-paced, side-scrolling roguelike action game where you step into the woolly boots of Omega and fight to protect the flock from a brutal lupine army led by the twisted Doctor Wolf. Each Loop delivers fresh, dynamic combat: precise, responsive controls meet a variety of enemies from swarming minions to towering, augmented monstrosities. No two runs have to play the same.

Collect new weapons, skills and abilities as you progress, then choose how they evolve. For each skill you can pick a passive buff or an active chained upgrade, letting you build focused power or complex combos that suit your playstyle. After every encounter you download and evolve critical skills - but beware: while Omega survives death, temporary modifications are lost when you start a new Loop, so every choice and every run matters.

Enemies and bosses learn from how you fight. Alpha enemies and the big foes adapt to your tactics - if you dodge and kite, they’ll become more aggressive; if you rush in, they’ll pull back and counter. The challenge is less about memorizing patterns and more about shaping a build and mastering intuitive action to overcome evolving threats.

Beyond the combat, Ovis Loop hints at a strange, post-apocalyptic world and a curious, unconventional story about one lone sheep in a looping war. Developed by a small team at LIFUEL, the game is in Early Access with an active roadmap and close community-driven development - the team invites players to join, give feedback, and help shape the game toward its 1.0 launch.

This update focuses primarily on skill overhauls and adjustments.We have completed these optimizations and tuning based on the continuous feedback you've provided and our analysis of player skill usage data.Skills that previously had low pick rates have been reworked or buffed, and we've also introduced a new suite of Combo Skills centered around throwing-type mechanics. On the other hand, some skills that were overperforming have received balance adjustments. The specific details are as follows:New SkillsThe skills added in this update are mainly focused on throwing and ranged categories. Build variations utilizing consecutive throws will be further enhanced, and we’ve also introduced new skills that yield higher returns as their cooldowns and energy costs increase.Previously, builds that maximized cooldown reduction or focused on melee combat had an overall strength that significantly outperformed others.
