About the game
AI LIMIT puts you in a ruined, post-collapse world where a failed artificial ecosystem unleashed a spreading substance called the Mud and unleashed deadly monsters. You play in the last human city, Havenswell, exploring damp sewers, layered slums and a sky city above a lake as you investigate what destroyed civilization.

You are a Blader - an artificial lifeform made by unknown technology. Bladers are built with a mission and can return from lethal wounds thanks to the Branch system. With the Branches broken, you must roam the city repairing them, meeting other survivors and Bladers, sharing in their hopes and losses, and piecing together the causes of the catastrophe.

Enemies range from deranged, mutated warriors and a blade-covered flying killing machine to gigantic beasts that crush cities. Battles force you to learn from each death and rebirth: dodge, strike, and exploit openings to survive.

Combat offers varied action: many weapon types and skills can be mixed and matched, your left-hand transformation can unleash dozens of spells or supports, and a Sync Rate mechanic rewards bold offense and smart defense to strengthen you in battle. Multiple systems combine to create deep combos and dynamic exchanges between attack and defense.

Exploration rewards you with weapons, armor and relics hidden throughout the ruined city-some guarded by monsters, others tucked away in alleys. Gear provides both combat benefits and unique visual styles, and relics let your Blader read residual memories to reveal Havenswell’s lost history.
