It casts you as Takumi Sumino, a seemingly ordinary teenager whose peaceful life in the Tokyo Residential Complex is shattered by grotesque invaders. When a mysterious figure named Sirei offers him power-in exchange for a self-inflicted wound-Takumi awakens at Last Defense Academy, a fortress school surrounded by otherworldly flames. Alongside 14 fellow students drafted into the Special Defense Unit, he must survive 100 days of war and despair to stand any chance of returning home.
