NeverHome - Tower of Vanity drops you into a surreal, gravity-defying tower where nothing is as it seems. You play as Granger, a young girl who suddenly awakens in a dark structure hovering above an alien sky. Armed only with a utility knife and a nailgun that you’ll unlock over time, you must explore a series of liminal, abstract rooms, solve environmental puzzles and fend off lurking creatures in your bid to escape.

The heart of NeverHome lies in creative problem-solving and teamwork. Along the way you’ll meet five other lost souls, each with unique talents:
- Callum, a tech-savvy scavenger able to decode hidden ciphers
- Rem, an eccentric marksman whose projectiles pack extra punch
- Peri, a cheery child with amnesia who surprisingly wards off monsters
- Leo, a boisterous young man whose trusty baseball bat clears both foes and obstacles
- Delilah, a laid-back athlete who teaches you how to run faster and jump farther

Deciding who to bring with you on each segment of the tower adds a strategic layer: their strengths can open new paths, reveal secrets or keep you alive in a pinch. As you combine found items-keys, scraps of metal, strange artifacts-and exploit the physics of this dark world, you’ll uncover unsettling revelations about your companions and the true nature of the Tower of Vanity.

This second chapter of the NeverHome anthology is inspired by early 2010s RPG Maker horror games and delivers several hours of tense exploration. Though you don’t strictly need to play the first entry, NeverHome - Hall of Apathy, it is strongly recommended for deeper context. Expect occasional moments of blood and uncanny imagery, as well as flashing lights that may affect sensitive viewers.
