You step into the role of the sole survivor aboard an Avaris Corporation mining ship, awakened after a century of cryo-sleep in orbit around a desolate world. Guided by your ship’s AI, you touch down to harvest precious ore. From there you must construct power grids, deploy harvesters, refine resources and ship them back for credits. Fortify your compound with walls and turrets, then send out tanks and artillery to push back the ever-encroaching Calyx before they overrun your base.

Managing your energy flow is as critical as your defenses-running out of power can leave turrets offline at the worst possible moment. Hunt down rare mineral pockets to accelerate research and unlock new technologies, boosting both your mining output and your military might. Along the way you’ll encounter increasingly dangerous Calyx variants that test your tactics and force you to adapt.

Calyx offers freedom in how you play: will you dig in and build a sprawling defensive fortress, or keep your forces light and mobile to strike quickly at growing threats? Experiment with different bases, unit compositions and strategies until you discover the approach that works best against each enemy type and every map layout.
