A Hat in Time is a charming 3D platformer in which you take on the role of Hat Kid, a tiny, top-hatted girl whose spaceship runs out of fuel when her precious Time Pieces scatter across a mysterious planet. To power her vessel and continue her journey through the stars, Hat Kid must leap into five expansive, colorful worlds, uncover hidden secrets, and recover every last Time Piece.

Along the way you’ll face the menacing Mafia of Cooks, outwit the clumsy birds of Dead Bird Studio, brave the spooky shadows of Subcon Forest, and tackle one-of-a-kind missions. One moment you’ll be playing detective on the "Murder on the Owl Express," gathering clues and interrogating suspects; the next you’ll be leading "The Big Parade" as its honorary band marshal; then slipping past guards to make your way through a bird-run movie studio.

Hat Kid’s greatest power lies in her ability to stitch new hats from rare magical yarn. Each hat grants a special ability-cook up explosive potions with a witch’s hat, peer into other dimensions with a wooden ghost mask, and more-while collectible badges let you customize and enhance those powers. Born from a wildly successful Kickstarter campaign, A Hat in Time also boasts full modding and Steam Workshop support, an in-game screenshot mode, and a warm invitation to a community that helped bring this joyful adventure to life.
