Stellar Tactics - это a vast, nostalgic sci‑fi RPG that blends strategic, turn‑based squad combat with deep open‑world space exploration. You awaken as a genetically engineered mercenary from cryostasis into a galaxy ravaged by the mutating Phage; assemble and customize a crew, navigate political factions, and decide whether to ally or remain a mercenary for hire. Build a squad of mercenaries and direct them in tactical ground battles against mutants, raiders and other hostile forces; harness Psionics and the ancient power Azimuth. The game features classless progression with 240 perks for unrestricted character customization, plus hundreds of craftable and upgradeable items using Nano‑Tech and component parts. Command and customize 40 different ships-specialize them for combat, cargo, mining or exploration, disable and board enemy vessels to loot and sell, and dominate the commodities market via mining, refining and the Trade‑Net.

Stellar Tactics offers extensive crafting, mining drones, planet scanning and ship boarding mechanics within a living, dynamic universe where exploration, combat and trade all feed into your rise from novice merc to legendary squad leader. [spoiler=Steam Update Info 01.06.2026] VER 1.12 UPDATED - Ground loot drops - reduced SHIELD drops, increased WEAPON drops. UPDATED - Space skill experience. Weaponry, Piloting, Electronics and Targeting now gain bonuses from INT applied to crew in ship stations. Increased the base EXP gain overall for space skills. UPDATED - The default FPS and VSYNC state for a newly downloaded game that has never been launched before is now set to 60 FPS/VSYNC off. The ideal settings for stability across various PC's is 60 FPS with VSYNC disabled. VSYNC in the NVidia or AMD control panel should be set to application controlled which is the default driver state. UPDATED - Increased the drop rate of schematics. FIXED - When changing female body types in the "Edit Crew" UI, female body models were changed to male - oops! If this is the case in your current save, edit the crew member by clicking the portrait in your inventory and change their body type. Save the game and reload the save. The correct model should be displayed. FIXED - When sneaking up on an enemy that does not see you, entering combat manually, and killing the enemy with a single shot, the game would lock up. FIXED - In some rare cases, after eliminating the last enemy in the combat session, the game could lockup. FIXED - The Speak with Forley Coresh mission will not auto complete in older saves if the mission is active. FIXED - The saved VSYNC state in the video options menu is now displayed correctly when options are loaded.
