Camp Z: The Awakening throws you into an alternate‐history World War II where Hitler’s cruelest experiment has already won. By splicing human DNA with that of animals, he created the Binary Super Soldiers-half‐man, half‐German shepherd warriors who overran every army on Earth. As the very first Binary Elite Super Soldier, you were built to secure an eternal Reich. But now you’ve broken free of your masters and are determined to stop the Führer’s nightmare from ever coming to pass.

In the single-player campaign "The Awakening," you’ll journey through dark laboratories, shattered bunkers and snow-capped forests, facing wave after wave of genetically twisted enemies. Along the way you’ll meet the other three Elite prototypes: Grizz the Bear, Carol the Stork and Hanz the Shepherd. Each encounter reveals more of the Reich’s twisted plans-and what it really means to be human. Your arsenal includes two primary weapons, a deadly melee arm, and a special ability unique to your character. As you fight your way toward freedom, expect branching paths, strategic combat and challenging boss fights.

Defiance Mode is Camp Z’s relentless horde-survival challenge. Play solo or team up with up to three friends, choosing any of the four Elite soldiers. Every character comes with distinct weapons, passive bonuses and a powerful special move. Defiance Mode has no upper limit: waves grow more intense, the custom soundtrack shifts to match the rising tension and, before long, you’ll be battling to set world‐record high rounds alongside a global leaderboard.

Visually, Camp Z embraces a bold collage style: 2D side-scrolling action framed by simple, crisp UI and striking typography. Whether you’re using a controller (Xbox recommended) or keyboard and mouse, the controls feel tight and familiar to anyone who’s played a modern shooter. A rich, dynamic soundtrack underscores both the story-driven rooms of the campaign and the ever-escalating chaos of Defiance Mode-right up to the triumphant main theme.
