Section 13 is a roguelite twin-stick shooter that throws you into the heart of a top-secret paranormal containment facility. You play as one of four agents-Red, Boy Scout, Beaker or Scalpel-sent by the shadowy S2P Corporation to investigate an Omega-level breach. Solo or with up to two friends, you’ll explore shifting levels teeming with cryptids, failed experiments and buried company secrets.

Every run in Section 13 is unpredictable. Levels reconfigure themselves as you progress, forcing you to think on your feet and adapt your tactics. Time your dodge-rolls to avoid erratic monster attacks, manage your ammo between reloads and unleash powerful special abilities when things get hairy. If you ever feel cornered, pick up a melee weapon and smash your way out-or risk your Fear meter spiking into a crippling panic attack.

Progress comes with both immediate and long-term rewards. Between missions you’ll unlock new weapons, upgradeable Synaptic Enhancements and even recreational genetic modifications-each offering unique twists on your build. Friendly fire is optional, so you can choose a forgiving co-op experience or crank up the chaos as you juggle explosives, stun grenades and other tactical items.

Beneath the waves of bullets and bizarre biowarfare, Section 13 weaves a deeper narrative. Your agents each carry personal mysteries, and as you gather data on paranormal anomalies you gradually uncover a web of conspiracies that link the facility’s darkest secrets to your own past.
