Global events such as plagues, wars and changes of monarchy will force you to adapt your financial strategy: support or challenge the crown and the church, influence laws, alter the kingdom’s economy and face the consequences of every choice. Reputation matters here. Prices fluctuate, customers remember past dealings, and a visit to the local seer may reveal looming dangers or golden opportunities.

A personal note from the developer explains why Medieval Shopkeeper Simulator is currently offered free of charge: during the first year of development, a series of hardware failures corrupted the project beyond repair. Although the game remains playable, it is unfinished and contains bugs, occasional freezing and the risk of lost save files. Despite these early-access limitations, the project has been a valuable learning experience, and ongoing monthly development vlogs and a transparent roadmap invite players to witness progress firsthand.
