The Ascent is a solo or co-op action-shooter RPG set in Veles, a towering cyberpunk arcology run by the all-powerful Ascent Group. You take on the role of a corporate indentured worker whose life is defined by the company that owns you. When the Ascent Group’s central systems suddenly collapse, the fragile order of your district shatters and survival becomes your only goal. Armed with an ever-growing arsenal of weapons, lethal gadgets and cybernetic enhancements, you’ll have to fight through hostile gangs, security forces and feral creatures to uncover the truth behind the shutdown-and stay alive.
