Start small by opening a single shop—a gift store, coffee stand, florist, clothing boutique or any of dozens of business types. Take out loans, rent the perfect location, design your logo, renovate the space, stock your shelves and hire your first employees. As you grow, you’ll manage supply chains, import goods through your own network of warehouses and build up a fleet of delivery trucks.

Scale up even further and hire managers: HR Directors, Logistics Chiefs and Purchasing Agents. Outfit them in a sleek headquarters complete with desks, computers and meeting rooms.
