Players assume the role of Yun, a "rewinder" with the unique ability to enter people's memories and influence their actions. By using "senses" and altering others' "intentions," Yun can change the course of history.

The story unfolds as Yun is tasked by the Spirit Wardens to investigate a small village where a spirit has been unable to reincarnate. The village, once bustling, is now deserted and haunted by resentful spirits, with only one woman remaining in the teahouse. Players must unravel the mystery of who she is waiting for, the fate of the other villagers, and the events that transpired seven years ago.
