BAKERU is a fast-paced action game set in “Fairy Tale Japan,” where modern elements blend with classic period drama. When Oracle Saitaro and his Festival Troops unleash a bizarre festival to conquer all of Japan, the tanuki hero Bakeru must journey through every one of the country’s 47 prefectures to free it from evil spirits.

Story
After hearing that Oracle Saitaro’s ritual has corrupted the land, Bakeru embarks on a quest armed only with his sacred drum—a secret treasure of the Tanuki Clan said to purify malevolent forces. Along the way, he’ll battle waves of enemies, dodge deadly traps and face powerful bosses determined to stop him.
