Project Abyss is a pixel-loving 2D survival RPG set in the deepest place on Earth. You control a diver and a mini-submarine as you explore a vibrant world filled with beautiful and deadly sea life, wreckages, and enemy submarines. The game combines realism with fun, allowing you to loot money for upgrades, complete tasks, unlock other submarines, and uncover the mysteries hidden deep below.

The game features a stylish blend of combat and serene aquatic moments, accompanied by an original soundtrack and ambient sounds. The underwater world is brought to life with pixel art graphics and includes a day/night cycle. Much of the environment is destructible, allowing you to blow up wreckage doors with C4 or drill and torpedo your way through rocks to find fuel cells and chests.

Survive in a challenging world filled with bosses, turrets, and poisonous plants, and discover a variety of sea life, including sharks, orcas, whales, jellyfish, and many fish. Control your submarine using turbines, claws, weaponry, and drills, with updated options for simpler controls. You can also explore outside your submarine, call drones, repair your sub, and swim through abandoned wreckages, from pirate ships to a massive World War submarine.

The game offers a wide range of equipment and upgrades across three tech-trees: Survival, Attack, and Defence. Collect notes to piece together the story of one diver's destiny, taking you across vast areas, defeating bosses, and unlocking the secrets of the abyss. With many hours of open gameplay, there is a lot to see and do in Project Abyss.
