In this twisted world, you assume the role of a graveyard keeper, tasked with the unnerving duty of re-killing the undead. Your adversaries are relentless ghosts and powerful liches; the former charging in with deadly claws and the latter hurling stones with fearsome strength. To combat these foes, you harness an unusual arsenal: elemental mushrooms. Scattered throughout the graveyard, five distinct mushroom types form the basis of your attacks. By collecting these mushrooms and combining them into bombs—think two Fire mushrooms with one Water mushroom—you can strategically exploit the elemental weaknesses of your enemies. For instance, launching a bomb infused with Water can deal extra damage to a Fire ghost.

Graveyard Shift offers two gripping game modes. In Waved mode, you battle through ten relentless waves of enemies, each more challenging than the last. Survival mode, on the other hand, pushes your endurance to the limit as you fight as long as you can stay alive. To aid in your macabre mission, four power-ups are available: Slow Time, Shield, Mushroom Magnet, and Infinite Mushrooms—each providing a critical edge against the encroaching forces of darkness.
