Size Matters is a fast-paced action platformer with a unique twist. In the game, you play as a scientist who has accidentally ingested a chemical that causes you to shrink continuously. As you diminish in size, navigating the laboratory becomes a challenging test of agility and problem-solving. You’ll need to traverse the increasingly treacherous lab environment—climbing onto equipment, moving around ingredients, and searching for key components—all while time ticks away before you shrink completely.

Throughout the game, you explore the laboratory to find ingredients and formulas that are essential for creating the three key components of an antidote. Each formula corresponds to a specific piece of equipment, such as the Chemical Processor, The Reverter, Code Combiner, and Antidote Producer. Your task is to accurately follow the formulas to produce new ingredients that may either be used in further recipes or form one of those vital antidote components.

With every second counting, you must operate various lab machines while also rearranging the lab environment to access hard-to-reach areas. The game challenges you to manage your limited time by multitasking—processing ingredients, locating missing components, and manipulating equipment to suit your shrinking frame. When you collect all three key ingredients, you place them in the antidote producer to create the antidote and potentially save your character.

Additionally, Size Matters offers plenty of customization options. You can adjust settings like your starting height, the number of double jumps available, or the processing time of the lab equipment. This allows you to tailor the experience to your own play style and create a personalized challenge.

Heavily inspired by "Inch by Inch," Size Matters provides a creative and engaging twist on platforming mechanics, combining puzzle-solving and time management as you race against the inevitable shrinkage.
