Step into the shoes of Rama, a young musician struggling to move on after the loss of his girlfriend, Cinta. While his close friends and bandmates are determined to help him get back on track, Rama finds himself paralyzed by grief for over a year—neglecting his music, his mental well‐being, and his relationships. To add to his turmoil, he begins hearing Cinta’s voice in his head, leaving him uncertain as to whether it is merely his imagination or something more mysterious.

With his band’s big gig just one month away, Rama faces a crucial choice: either commit to his music and deliver the new songs he has been promising or risk being left behind as the band moves on without him. Over the course of twenty-eight days and nights, every decision you make will determine Rama’s path. You'll explore modern-day Jakarta through side-scrolling adventures, engage in deep and meaningful conversations with a diverse cast of characters, and even take part in rhythm game sections where you jam with his band.

Afterlove EP offers an authentic look into urban life in Indonesia. The game’s distinctive manga-inspired art, crafted by renowned Indonesian artist Soyatu, and its original soundtrack provided by Indonesian indie band L’Alphalpha, both capture the spirit of this bustling city.

This project is a lasting tribute to Mohammad Fahmi, the celebrated narrative designer, writer, and developer who left us too soon in March 2022. After his passing at the age of 32, his team at Pikselnesia—an Indonesian indie studio—pledged to complete his final vision. With team members spanning across Indonesia and with experience working on titles like A Space for the Unbound, What Comes After, and Hello Good Boy, Afterlove EP stands as a heartfelt homage to Fahmi’s legacy and a window into modern Indonesian urban life.
