Acid Planet throws you into a world where humanity has almost vanished, leaving behind a wasteland dominated by gigantic bio-monsters. In this setting, enormous creatures known as Kaiju rule the landscape, and you play as a clone working for the SCAV Corporation. Your mission is to salvage these towering beasts by capturing their cores, all while fighting off relentless swarms of enemies with an arsenal of personal weapons, automated defense systems, and drones. Rest assured, when one clone's done, you’ll simply be re-cloned for the next battle.

The gameplay blends action-packed tower defense with real-time strategy and roguelite elements. You'll construct defensive towers and drone factories to protect your ship, carefully placing them to take full advantage of your surroundings. Between waves of attackers, you can position your crew member to support your auto-firing defenses and engage in high-risk, high-reward encounters with the desert’s quirky inhabitants. As you progress, you eventually face off against imposing Kaiju bosses, each boasting unique and formidable abilities.

After every encounter, you earn the chance to upgrade or unlock powerful new skills. This evolution extends to your weapons and towers, which can be transformed into entirely new forms as you collect Kaiju cores to boost your abilities for future runs. The game offers a deep meta-progression system with over 25 unlockable items, ensuring that each playthrough brings fresh challenges and rewards.
