Until We Die is a unique take on base defense strategy set deep underground in a subway station. After meteorite impacts bring all sorts of dangerous creatures into your world, your mission is to hold the fort for roughly 30 game days. At the start, you'll be fighting off small groups of attackers, but as time goes on, you'll face increasingly large and ferocious mutant hordes. The game challenges you to protect your base at all costs—if Ivan, our main character, falls or the essential power generator is taken out, it's game over.

In this game, you don’t just sit back and watch the battle unfold; you take command as Ivan, issuing orders to your crew who aren’t exactly known for their initiative. They rely on your guidance to build strong fortifications, research advanced defenses, and even explore the surface for new resources. Along the way, you'll confront mutant lairs to claim land for farming and shelter, gather supplies from scattered crates, and get creative with whatever food sources you find—even if that means chasing down a pesky rat on the tracks.
