Story:
For as long as your people can remember, Mercia has suffered under the tyrannical grip of the malevolent sorceress Etheldred. Months ago, a band of mercenaries was sent to end her reign of terror, yet none have returned. Now, the fate of Mercia rests on your shoulders. Will you follow in the footsteps of these brave souls, or will you carve a path to heroic victory?

Gameplay:
Choose one of three courageous heroes – Fae the Elf, Iolo the Druid, or Rooney the Marauder – each boasting unique traits, weapons, and special abilities. Engage in intense combat where every hero delivers fierce melee attacks and long-range projectiles. Move and attack in eight different directions, utilize a variety of items, and face off against hordes of Etheldred’s minions before challenging formidable bosses in each region.

Ælfwyn the Merchant:
As you accumulate gold from defeated foes, seek out Ælfwyn, the mysterious traveling merchant. She offers a range of wares, from health potions and power-ups to devastating magic scrolls, ensuring you’re well-prepared for the challenges ahead.

Etheldred the Sorceress:
Deep in a distant volcanic wasteland, Etheldred rules from her spire, periodically sending her armies south to capture citizens for a lifetime of servitude. With her next assault looming and the kingdom growing desperate, champions across the land are called upon to stop her evil plans once and for all. Now, it’s your turn to heed the call and save Mercia.
