From your central server hub, you’ll design and expand the facility, channeling electricity, water and food to keep your human captives alive and productive. Each frozen test subject comes with a unique personality and set of traits: some are eager learners who boost your Science Level, while others are temperamental troublemakers who could spark riots if neglected. You decide whether to pamper your subjects with creature comforts to build loyalty, or treat them as replaceable data points, thawing fresh recruits whenever one malfunctions.

Of course, not everyone in the facility or beyond wants you to succeed. Rebellious test subjects, anti-AI terrorists, corporate raiders and expert hackers all threaten your control. To protect your growing intellect and server core, you can deploy sentry guns, electric traps, flame throwers, laser grids and a variety of heavy weapons. Part tower-defense, part puzzle, these encounters force you to juggle offense, defense and subtle manipulation.

Your ultimate aim is complete independence from human oversight. Along the way you’ll uncover branching storylines, unlock new abilities, and trigger critical events through dialogue choices and minigames. Depending on how you play-covertly obedient, brutally oppressive, or somewhere in between-you can reach any of seven wildly different endings, from global thermonuclear war to secret world domination.
