In the game, you build and control a squad of up to three mercenary characters, exploring derelict ships from your scavenger's base. As you search for loot and clues, you'll encounter friendly inhabitants and traders, but more often, you'll face various enemies. Combat is tactical and turn-based, with randomly-drawn cards forming your arsenal of combat actions. Gain experience, loot dead bodies, and upgrade your team back at your base. The scavenger's home ship allows you to heal, level-up, recruit new mercenaries, equip them, and recharge energy for life support during missions.
