The game features a gridless tactical turn-based combat system, allowing players to carefully plan their moves during the Order Phase and then watch their strategies unfold in the Action Phase as characters execute their commands on the battlefield. The character advancement system is adaptive, with characters learning new skills and unlocking classes based on their equipment and combat decisions.
