Sheryl ~The Alchemist of the Island Ruins~ takes place in Altona, a settlement perched on the rim of a vast chasm known as the Abyss. The depths are filled with other intelligent species, monsters and remnants of long-lost civilizations, and town residents venture down to gather rare materials needed for alchemy. With little money to her name, Sheryl must descend into the Abyss herself, gathering ingredients, meeting new people, and gradually uncovering a hidden conspiracy that pulls her deeper into danger.
