Renoir tells the story of James Renoir, a dedicated cop serving in a crime-ridden metropolis where corruption seeps from the underworld straight into political power. Influenced by mafia families that have infiltrated every level of government, the regular police force finds itself powerless under corrupt leadership. However, when a young, ambitious politician begins to change the system, Renoir is rewarded with a promotion to Detective for his efforts against the criminal underworld.
