Starship EVO is an evolving game that combines space simulation with an exceptional level of creative freedom. Currently, players can enjoy a mature building experience, engaging space battles, and explore a vast galaxy. A survival mode is in development, and multiplayer requires a server/client setup with port forwarding.

In Starship EVO, you can build like never before. Stretch bricks on the fly to create unique shapes, and switch grid sizes from 0.125m to 32m to blend large and small bricks for crafting anything from small Starfighters to massive Dreadnoughts. Paint and apply decals to personalize your creations. Engineer moving contraptions with sliders, rotors, hinges, or pistons to create landing gears, turrets, and more. Build starships, stations, hovercrafts, and custom handheld weapons, and share your creations on the workshop or explore community builds. Utilize systems like artificial gravity, mag-lock, and shipyard, and wire everything with ease using event gates or sensors. Quality of life tools include multi-plane symmetry, copy-paste, and prefab export.

Explore a vast world with the ability to land on procedurally generated planets. Engage in interstellar travel using the holomap to warp to different systems. Land on large ring-shaped space habitats and enjoy hovercrafts. Fly seamlessly from planet to planet, visit space stations, and explore massive planetary ring asteroids. Play as a human or one of four alien races.

Go to war by tackling bounty missions and hunting down pirates. Use the Space Battle Editor tool to fight epic battles with ships of your design or from the workshop. Customize laser or beam weapons with add-ons like Gatling, Sniper, Recoil, or Supercharge to fit your style. Experiment with ship design to find the right balance of heat and power, tuning your ship for agility or strength.

Crafting and survival are works in progress. Currently, you can mine asteroids, collect ore, and craft ingots with the furnace. Craft various bricks and components with the assembler in the experimental beta branch, and harvest fuel from nearby stars.
