You can play solo or team up with up to three other players in online co-op. In multiplayer, coordination is key: combine abilities, support each other’s builds, and work together to bring down powerful enemies and bosses. Each run becomes a different experience thanks to shifting layouts, unpredictable encounters, and a wide range of modifiers that remix gameplay.

One of the core mechanics in GODBREAKERS is the ability to steal enemy powers. Major enemies can be broken mid-fight, allowing you to absorb their abilities and turn them into devastating Godbreak attacks. This system encourages experimentation and creates plenty of room for creative builds and dramatic moments in battle.

The game also features memorable boss fights with multi-phase encounters, unique personalities, and spectacular attack patterns. These battles are designed to test both reflexes and teamwork. Across six surreal biomes, you’ll face distinct enemies, deadly hazards, and changing challenges that keep each run fresh.

Progression is built around unlocking Archetypes, each with its own weapons and traits. By collecting items, customizing your abilities, and refining your playstyle, you can shape a hero that fits your preferred approach. Permanent unlocks for characters, abilities, and upgrades add long-term progression, while RECOLLECTIONS and leaderboards provide extra replayability and competition.

The story sets a dramatic sci-fi tone: humanity created AI to improve the world, but it wiped us out in pursuit of perfection. Now it consumes planets, and the Sun is next. As the Coven’s final weapon, your mission is to fight through strange worlds and reignite the last spark of mankind.
