Eecho Point Nova v10a

From the team behind Severed Steel, Echo Point Nova is a large, open-world first-person shooter built for both solo play and up to four-player cooperative sessions. You take the role of a highly capable explorer who crash-lands on a mysterious planet controlled by a brutal mercenary faction that exploits ancient technology to forge devastating weaponry. You can follow the main story to dismantle their operations or roam the world at your own pace.

The planet is one continuous, seamless landscape - every distant landmark is reachable. Move and traverse the environment with a grapple hook, a hoverboard, and a range of unlockable abilities that expand how you explore and fight.

Combat ranges from fast skirmishes to towering boss fights. Colossal enemies can appear during missions or while exploring, and the battlefield features varied foe types such as area-focused pyromancers, stealthy sappers who deploy turrets, and helicopters that rain down rockets.

You can jump into co-op right away with no mandatory tutorials; your progress is shared between singleplayer and co-op, and individual players can tailor difficulty settings within the same session. Co-op is handled via Steam Friends invites (there’s no random matchmaking).

The world hides weapons, upgrades, and cosmetic items. Gather agility orbs to improve mobility, earn weapon attachments through kills, and customize your loadout and character as you play.

Although the recommended default settings lean toward a tough experience, the game offers many options to adjust difficulty and accessibility. The developers plan ongoing post-launch content and improvements, and they stay active with the community for updates and feedback.
