Haunted Room 205 is a first-person walking simulator blended with life-sim elements, wrapped in horror and thriller tones. You play as a young man who can sense the supernatural. To save money he moves into a very cheap apartment, confident he can live alongside whatever he’s always sensed-but the disturbances here are deeper and far more dangerous than he expected. Each restless night in the flat pushes him closer to uncovering the full truth.

Key gameplay elements:
- Supernatural perception: your character naturally senses paranormal activity, and you can close your eyes to dispel or avoid some supernatural events.
- Sanity system: ongoing paranormal events gradually wear down your sanity, while sudden scares can break it immediately. Managing your mental state involves timely eye-closing and basic self-care like eating and drinking.
- Life-simulation interactions: you can manipulate the environment in detail-open doors, flip switches, eat, sleep and more-which helps build immersion.
- Atmosphere and presentation: built in Unreal Engine 5, the game uses realistic lighting, high-detail models and rich environmental audio to create a claustrophobic indoor horror setting with Asian cultural touches.
