It’s 2120 and Earth has been overrun by an alien species known as the Murkors - who, bizarrely, wear rubber duck hats. Humanity’s resistance is hanging on, and you step in as one of the planet’s defenders: level up, grab gear and drive back the invaders before night falls.

Die After Sunset is an action-packed roguelite shooter where each run drops you into a new, randomly generated location with randomized objectives. Complete missions, open chests and gather items to grow stronger during a playthrough, then face massive boss fights at the end of each area. No two runs play out the same.

Choose from three distinct characters - precision shooter April, the half-man, half-cyborg machine-gunner Rido, or Hune, a failed Murkor experiment - each with a basic weapon and a unique special attack. Positioning is crucial: Murkors draw power from shadows, so staying in sunlight weakens them (sunscreen provided, tongue-in-cheek).

Pick up helpful items that change how you move and fight - from double jumps to bizarre weapons like the "refreshing" ray - and collect Mucus dropped by enemies. Mucus can be banked as currency to unlock persistent upgrades in a progression tree, so death just sets you up for stronger future runs. Die After Sunset can be downloaded.
