Doomfields is an autobattler roguelite that puts heavy emphasis on team composition, upgrades and loot. You lead a small party into a grid of rooms where combat usually starts as soon as you enter - from that point the game plays out automatically and you watch your synergies and builds determine victory or defeat.

At the start of a run you pick one of three archetypes: Fighter, Rogue or Mystic. Each archetype evolves: at level 10 it branches into three focused sub-archetypes (for example Fighter becomes Warrior, Knight or Guard), and at level 20 you choose again from another three options based on previous choices. Repeat this for up to five characters (you recruit a new unit each stage), creating deep and varied combinations: 3 base archetypes -> 9 sub-archetypes -> 27 sub-sub-archetypes with their own abilities and playstyles.

Beyond class progression, Doomfields rewards experimentation with powerful, often game-changing loot, team-wide keepsakes, and tactical guidelines that alter how your squad behaves in battle. These systems layer on top of each other so that positioning, ability synergies and the items you find matter just as much as raw stats. The game also features asynchronous PvP, letting you pit your team builds against other players’ squads.
