Upin & Ipin Universe is the first open-world game set in the beloved Upin & Ipin world, created with Les’ Copaque Production and Streamline Studios. It recreates Kampung Durian Runtuh with loving attention to detail, offering a warm, childlike playground inspired by Southeast Asian village life.

The game opens up from the start: there are no locked areas, no loading screens, and no timers. Players are invited to roam at their own pace, discover hidden corners, and stumble into gentle adventures-just like the freedom of childhood. You can play as Upin and Ipin together in single-player (the twin follows you) or team up locally with a friend.

The kampung is alive: day-night cycles, changing weather, and resident routines affect what you find and who’s around. Meet familiar faces-Kak Ros, Tok Dalang, Mei Mei, Ehsan, Jarjit, Mail, Abang Iz-and take on small quests, minigames, or simply share in everyday moments that deepen your connection to the village.

There’s lots to do: grow and tend gardens, fish at different spots and times, catch insects to help other activities, and cook Malaysian dishes in a rhythm-based mini-game called Masak-Masak. Race customizable RC cars on shifting tracks, battle spinning tops in gasing arenas, climb rooftops, swim rivers, and hunt for secret hideouts and mysteries in the jungle.

The game is family-friendly by design: no combat, no microtransactions, and no fail states. It’s an offline experience built in Unreal Engine 5, with PC-focused options so players on a range of hardware can adjust performance and controls. Full voice acting is available in both Bahasa Malaysia and English, and you can mix audio and subtitle languages to suit your preference.
