Yomi 2 turns classic fighting-game action into a card-driven duel. Play as one of many distinct fighters, learn their combos and playstyle, and try to out-read your opponent the way you would in Street Fighter or Fantasy Strike - the game’s designer helped create both of those titles. Each card represents a move (attacks, blocks, throws, dodges and unique abilities), and interactions follow familiar fighting-game logic - for example, throws beat blocks.

Rounds are about hand management and timing: keeping options open while assembling the right sequence of cards for big combos. You can even swap a card in your hand with one from your discard pile if both cards show the exchange symbol, letting you recover key pieces for a combo or shore up weaknesses. Gems let you customize a character’s toolkit, granting different special moves plus a one-time "gem storm" ability that can swing a match. There are high and low attacks that force different blocks and enable mixups, projectile-focused zoners who can expand their hand with safer ranged moves, and a super meter you fill (by discarding pairs or landing chain combos) to unleash powerful super moves.
