Little Fighter 2 Remastered takes the beloved fast-paced combat of the original and gives it a fresh, modern polish. The core gameplay - frantic, combo-driven fights and chaotic multiplayer brawls - is preserved, while a complete visual overhaul brings high-resolution, hand-redrawn sprites and effects that make every punch and special move pop.
Where the remaster really shines is multiplayer. The improved local network mode now supports up to eight players on local devices, making it easier and more fun to recreate those legendary free-for-all matches with friends. Under the hood the game has also received numerous fixes and optimizations, resulting in a smoother, more stable experience that reduces interruptions and keeps the action flowing.
Fans should be excited about ongoing support: the developer plans to add new characters and at least one new stage in future updates, expanding both variety and replayability. If you loved the original or enjoy fast, accessible beat ’em ups with a strong multiplayer focus, this remaster is a thoughtful balance of nostalgia and modern polish.
Little Fighter 2 Remastered can be downloaded and is ready to play - a great pick for local parties or quick competitive sessions.
LF2R v2.14b is now live
Hi all, I’ve just promoted v2.14b from beta to the main (default) branch. This means the main branch has jumped directly from v2.12 to v2.14b. Thank you to everyone who tested the beta and provided feedback. Sometimes Steam may have trouble updating the game. If you still see v2.12 (or even v2.1) after updating, you can fix it by going to: Steam Client → Right-click the game → Properties → Installed Files → Verify integrity of game files. Below is the short summary of what has changed: • Gamepad support added • Improved SteamDeck experience • Reduced AI sensitivity for Normal/Easy • Further improvements to control feel • Fixed floating/stuck issues • Fixed some quarter-century-old bugs • Made Full-Screen more accessible • Fixed app freeze on Full-screen + alt-tab • Other bug fixes... For the complete list of changes (about 4–5 screens worth), please refer to the update log in the game. If you discover any bugs in v2.14b, please report them in the Community Hub.Over the next two weeks, I’ll be focusing my efforts on improving the network features. The frustration began to drain my momentum, and perha...
