Outfit your vessels with specialized munitions like chain shot, manage sails to take advantage of the wind, and unleash powerful special weapons such as the Vanguard Cannon to swing a fight in your favor. You can also board enemy ships: assemble boarding parties, capture troublesome foes to add them to your fleet, and pillage enemy holds for new weapons and even cooking ingredients you can use in Chigara’s Bakery.

The story branches based on your decisions, opening hidden routes and allowing you to recruit bonus characters. New Game+ expands those possibilities with alternate story paths, additional recruitables, and rarer loot. The affection system from Sunrider 4 returns - converse with your crew to earn affection, unlock potent abilities, and pursue 14 unique ending scenes, one for each recruitable girl.
