Gameplay centers on building and adapting a deck: each character has their own pool of cards, you pick one of three reward cards after each victory, and Jenny’s Shop lets you buy additional cards to push a specific strategy. More than 100 cards and a variety of gadgets let you experiment with different deck archetypes and combos, and gadgets dropped by enemies or sold in events can drastically change how your deck performs.

Combat adds a unique twist by using card speed: both card effects and enemy actions are governed by timing, so mastering when things activate is as important as what you play. Learn to manipulate activation speeds to land heavy hits, time buffs and debuffs, or apply odd altered states that turn encounters in your favor. The result is tactical fights that reward planning and precise sequencing rather than only raw power.

Outside of battles, Tubercle City is populated with up to 30 unique citizens and a range of random events where choices can reveal lore - or get you hurt. The city features three distinct zones, each with its own flavor and rules, and two playable characters with completely different mechanics, which boosts replayability and offers fresh challenges every run.
