Dragons Reef is a colorful, family-friendly action-adventure set on a vibrant ocean realm teeming with pirates, sea creatures and, of course, dragons. You choose one of eight captains-each with two unique, upgradable skills and a distinct ship paint-and set sail on ten long levels that blend RPG progression with fast-paced naval combat. Along the way you’ll collect crystals to level up your ship, unlock special abilities and carry powerful artifacts; only four can be active at once, so strategic load-outs matter.

Every stage offers a fresh gameplay mode: from delivering goods and escorting allied ships, to tower-defense-style battles as you guard dragon eggs, Capture the Flag challenges, base-raiding missions, control-point sieges and high-speed chases against thieves. Two bonus levels even let you play from the pirates’ point of view. High randomness in events and enemy behavior means every run feels different-encounters with giant sea beasts, wandering dragons or roaming defense towers can turn the tide at any moment.

Your ship bristles with eight types of magical cannonballs-fire, ice, electric and more-each with its own spectacular animation and tactical use. A golden dragon companion circles overhead, offering support in combat and helping clear water obstacles. Thanks to Unreal Engine 5, dynamic Lumen lighting and Nanite details bring an atmospheric, top-down view that lets you admire hidden animals along the coast and lush reefs below.

Dragons Reef supports Xbox controllers out of the box and includes a built-in leaderboard so families and friends can compare their best scores. Calm, relaxing sea shanties underscore the action, making naval combat as satisfying as it is accessible to younger players.
