Drop Duchy reinvents the classic block-dropping puzzle by turning each falling piece into building material for your very own realm. Instead of merely clearing lines, you must place diverse tile shapes-forests, rivers, plains and more-so they trigger resource-gathering and unit recruitment according to their activation rules. Smart placements not only yield wood, stone or food but also raise battalions to defend your castle from relentless foes.
At its core, Drop Duchy blends deck-building, rogue-lite progression and real-time strategy. You customize a deck of over 110 unique cards-ranging from defensive keeps and watchtowers to powerful technologies-that modify how structures behave or expand your recruitment options. As you journey across ever-changing maps, you’ll choose branching routes through lakes, glades, villages and guilds, each offering opportunities to trade, fight or upgrade your deck.
Combat is fast and tactical: keep your castle’s health intact while your growing army presses the attack. If you fall, you don’t start from scratch. Experience earned unlocks new cards, bonus structures and more than 100 meta-missions spread across three factions-the Duchy, the Republic and the Order. Faction quests award exclusive perks that shape your strategy on subsequent runs.
