Wrench is a detailed mechanic simulation set squarely in the world of motorsports. Players step into a fully customizable garage where they can tear down, rebuild and tweak three distinct chassis-a hatchback streetcar and two licensed kit cars-using nothing but realistic hand tools and organizational systems. By design, Wrench encourages experimentation, mistakes and improvisation, making every session an opportunity to learn from failure and deepen your understanding of how an engine and its supporting systems come together.

The current development focus lives in the Beta branch on Steam, where you can explore a sandbox environment and test the new game loop and systems before they arrive in the main release. Here you’ll find co-op multiplayer support for both desktop and VR play, letting friends collaborate (or compete) while swapping sockets, tightening bolts and chasing down off-camera rattles.

Controls are deliberately minimalist in terms of interface: most actions take place in the world, and you won’t find an automated parts bin. Instead, you must keep track of every nut and bolt, arranging tools on pegboards or in trays, grouping sockets by size and storing containers on rolling carts. Workbenches, flooring and shelving can be rearranged to suit your style, turning a blank garage into a highly personal workshop.
