Combat
Battles unfold directly in the world, with no transitions to separate screens. A “timed hits” system rewards you for pressing buttons in sync with attack and defense animations, boosting damage dealt and reducing damage taken. Parties of three characters can chain together multi-character combo attacks, tap into special “boost” meters for powerful moves, and use a strategic “locks” system to hinder enemies as they charge spells or abilities. The result is an engaging, skill-driven take on turn-based combat that never feels repetitive.

Exploration
Movement breaks free from grid-bound tilesets. You can swim, climb, vault, jump off ledges and hoist yourself up to discover hidden paths and secrets. Traversal feels natural and agile, turning every area into a small platforming playground.

Visuals
A custom 2D pixel-art render pipeline bathes the world in dynamic lighting and vibrant effects. Scenes come alive in a way few modern pixel-art games manage, making forests, caves, villages and star-lit skies feel both nostalgic and fresh.

Co-op Play
The entire campaign supports up to three players in drop-in, drop-out co-op. Friends can join your journey at any time to explore the world together and master the Co-op Timed Hits combat mechanic, either locally or via Steam Remote Play Together.
