At the start of your journey you’ll find a nearby mission marker that points you toward your next objective. Brief task descriptions help you judge which path to take, but beware—every corridor holds surprises. Strange creatures lurk in the darkness, ready to attack with fierce power. You must carefully monitor two core resources: Spirit (sometimes called retention value) and Health. Spirit fuels your speed and escape abilities, so let it run too low and you’ll slow to a crawl. Health allows you to recover stamina, but taking damage from wild beasts will chip away at your life bar.

Light is scarce deep underground. In pitch-black caves you’ll need torches or other light-emitting tools to reveal hidden passages and avoid deadly drops. Early on you can scavenge these items nearby, but later skirmishes with creatures might force you to ration your light sources. Exploring further will lead you into chambers filled with enigmatic stones and bizarre rock formations. Each new discovery brings you closer to understanding the maze’s ancient origins—and to finding a way out before the black hole’s pull becomes irresistible.
