Before each expedition you’ll pick your team’s Elites, Minions, Equipment, and Crystals—careful planning is crucial, as losing too much morale can end your journey prematurely. Choose one of five playable species—Lycans, Imps, Crystalians, Ethereals, or Clockworks—each offering unique abilities and playstyles. As you conquer foes and overcome challenges, you’ll unlock new units, talents, loadouts, and difficulty modifiers that carry over across multiple runs, fueling long-term progression.
